That was tough.....but unlike some other games the insane level is well balanced. You get crazy fire fights but at least it is not an endless wave of spawning enemies. I won't mention any names (COD), but I find this more enjoying.
It took me a while but I beat this level on single player. The bots kept getting downed on me. I believe it is supposed to be even harder in Co-Op. I will get to that soon enough.

Yeah it takes awhile but if you stick with it you get a check point halfway through. Of course on Arcade that doesn't matter.

That bit was a real bitch - constant jumping and rolling - and when it oozes the lambent crap everywhere, you die way too easily!!

Remember - always do this on Arcade mode and designate a spawn monkey!

I spent last weekend completing this game on Insane, Friday to Sunday (I went out Saturday night so as not to be driven totally insane(excuse the pun).
I did it solo all the way up until Myrrah. Insane is difficult. It will drive you mad. Its the reason for it being the hardest difficulty. But for all but Myrrah it is far from impossible. There are three insanely frustratingly difficult parts:

	1. On top of the fuel station just before Dom dies. 2. Just outside the door of Griffin's refinery when the giant stalk appears. 3. Queen Myrrah

I found that with perseverance I passed the first two eventually. For Queen Myrrah however I spent three hours before I gave in and got a mate to help. The issue was that I needed twice as much ammo as I was given so I just decided to get an extra body. So the game was tested and the idea with it being the hardest difficulty is it is very difficult

did this battle without mutators and multiple deaths.........really annoying. took bout 30 mins. wait til u do the myrrah fight.

Ive done the zerker fight, and the Myrrah fight with Super Reload, and i still got the Achivement, this is prob late, but just wanted to say.

i reckon the hardest part on insane was the armoured kantuses and serapedes after you've escorted the sub through the hanger. took me longer then myyrahs big bumblebee

I totally agree, drove me crazy this bit, as you can't be revived and the ai is piss poor at keeping the serapede off you. Took me two days, cause I was getting really frustrated, the pad nearly went through the tv. Laughing

Oh also not forgetting the gunkers affraid

so does any1 know easy way to finish the game and unlock hardest lv, cuz i want to start my lv cheat thingi, and it takes ages for me to complete campaign
