Why do some people get intimidated by a players rank or onyx badges?

You can easily get to high levels by strictly playing horde or boosting in private matches against bots... -_-

I find myself looking at randoms and parties/clans in disbelief, becasue people automatically think they're going to get raped...i've slain whole parties alone with all bots on my team..Why so much fear?

People are impressionable.

If players have either red or blue numbers they are boosters....nothing wrong with that, but it's not intimidating.

I get tired of playing with scared randoms who leave when we're up against boosters with blue re-up

yeah, i don't think rank or K/D means anything. Many people (not all) get high k/d and rank just by boosting private matches and just suck when it comes to playing actual players online. I, myself am second prestige red and suck online because i used to boost so much which didn't teach me anything about playing, obviously.

Haha i still get intimidated when i play clans sometimes though for some reason. Maybe because i'm new to the whole multiplayer feel of things.

Most of the time when i see people with any type of re-up i automatically think they will be trash lol, I know you are not Stu, but most of the time when i see them they are really bad from all their boosting and they lost all their "Skill" if they even had it. Every time i've fought a red or blue they are on the bottom of the list with 3 or less kills.

well probably most.. I dont think all players will be crap

no clue, i mean im red level 73 and i suck at gears. i played legitly i just play a lot. anyone can get onyx medals some are just too lazy

I think most of the people that are intimidated are new gears players. I was and kind of am now (not going to lie) when i go up against an entire clan in quick match. Also my friend just got gow3 and he is intimidated by them, this is his first gow game of the series. I think its just if the players are new and/or how competitive they play.
