I have been permanently suspended from XBL! Apparently I have modified my profile in some way which has lead to me being banned for ever! The closest thing I have done to profile modding was an achievement 2 years ago that I had already been reset for!

If I create a new account I lose all my game history, all my achievements, all my unlocks from beta, all my unlocks from everything else and I go down from level 86 to 1.

I am currently awaiting a reply from microsoft about my e-mail of complaint.

Oh maybe to many people reported you. Hope they reverse the ban.

Not the first time MS has banned accounts that have actually done nothing...

Send them a email/letter explaining that you were already punished for that action, and if the still refuse... Sue them lol

Well, I have received a reply saying that I have somehow illegitimately earned a watermark or something fucked up like that.
By the looks of it though the ban is not going to get reversed which is actually really annoying considering that I lose all my progress and DLC's for every game. I unlocked like 75% of everything for GoW 3, and I bought the season pass.

WTH is a "watermark" on your account? Didn't hey even tell when this "watermark" was aqquired or how? That's pretty bull, I know if I was in the same predicament, I'd just go "F**k it!", sell my console gear and go 100% PC.

I'd take em to court and sue them for lack of evidence and false conviction. Yes you would win if you truely didn't do anything and they would be forced to pay you back for all the products you paid for and did not receive due to false accusations. Two lawyers in the family if your wondering.

No they don't tell you anything like how or when this watermark was acquired, and I am actually considering selling my xbox.
But, sue microsoft? Are you mad?

Either you or someone else has tried to mod your account. Did you try to alter the number of years you've been on Xbox Live? That seems to be a common one getting people banned.
